Rejoice rock fans, Them Crooked Vultures are coming to Boston. Why are we so excited to see band that yet to officially release a single, let alone their debut album. Well, because in terms of “supergroups”, arguably none are& bigger than Them Crooked Vultures. Why? How about, Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and Nirvana on drums, John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin on bass, and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal on vocals and guitar.

After making their debut at small Chicago club last month, Them Crooked Vultures flew over to Europe for a handful of unannounced shows. Now, the band has finally revealed plans for a tour that will bring them to Boston’s House of Blues on Sunday, October 11. Tickets are $47.50 and go on-sale Saturday at 10 a.m though Live Nation.

Them Crooked Vultures, which has been in the works for four years, will release an album later this year, but official details have yet to be announced. So far, the band has only promoted themselves with limited postings on their website as well as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube pages.
