The Jonas Brothers take a swing at Campanelli

, Staff

The Jonas Brothers took a break on Saturday afternoon from their sold out two-night stand at the TD Garden for a softball game at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton. The teen pop-rock heroes made an announcement to their fans only two hours before gametime via Twitter but were greeted by a large and lively crowd at the minor league ballpark and home to the Brockton Rox.

The brothers – Kevin, Joe and Nick – along with members of their band and crew play softball games often while on tour. The team, dubbed the Road Dogs, even have their own uniforms. On Saturday, the Road Dogs took on a team comprised of employees from Marquis Jet Corp., a private jet company that the Jonas Brothers frequently employs. The Marquis team defeated the Road Dogs, 12-5.

Meanwhile, the Rox are scheduled to take on the Sussex Skyhawks tonight in Brockton.
