The Cult to bring Love back to Boston

English rockers The Cult have revealed plans for a summer stateside tour that will bring them to Boston’s House of Blues on Wednesday, September 12. Tickets, which are priced at $29 and $39, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation

At the show, the band will perform their 1985 breakthrough record Love in its entirety.The band’s second album features legendary Cult tunes “She Sells Sanctuary,” “Phoenix,” and “Brother Wolf, Sister Moon.” After performing each of the album’s 10 tracks, The Cult will return for a second half filled with the band’s greatest hits. The band is also promising an impressive stage show with dramatic effects.

“The band is redefining the live album experience with the Love Live Tour; nothing is comparable to witnessing The Cult, fully engaged in the live creation of arguably their seminal album,” said Cult manager Tom Vitorino in a press release. “For fans this will be the greatest tour yet, and for those just discovering The Cult, this staging will envelop them in a pure performance experience.”
