Staind will return to Boston this summer for a homecoming show at the Bank Of America Pavilion on Tuesday, July 14. The show is part of the "Stimulate This!" tour with fellow rockers Shinedown and Chevelle. Halestorm and Lo-Pro will also perform. Tickets are priced from a recession friendly $20 to $35 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. via Live Nation.

"Wall Street got its bailout; now it’s time for rock fans to get theirs," said Staind frontman Aaron Lewis in a press release. "This summer, we want to give our fans one night where they can forget about everything else and experience a great rock show."

"We’ve always said that we, as a band, only answer to one boss… and that’s everyone in the audience," added Shinedown’s Brent Smith. "It’s our job… our privilege to offer our fans an escape. Teaming up with these other great bands, we’re doing what we can to help lift everyone’s spirits in these tough times… the power of music can do that."

Springfield natives Staind continues to tour in support of their latest album, The Illusion of Progress. The album was released last summer and marked the band’s fourth consecutive studio album to debut in the top 3 on the Billboard 200.

Shinedown are touring in support of their 2008 release, The Sound of Madness. The album’s latest single, "Second Chance," has been a major success at active rock and alternative format radio stations. Meanwhile, Chevelle have just wrapped up recording their new album Letter From a Thief which will hit stores later this summer. The Chicago-based trio recorded the album in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Brian Virtue (Jane’s Addiction, Deftones).

The tour will also offer various promotions at each tour stop including discounts on concessions at the venue during the show, store discounts at local retailers, and online rebates for band merchandise.
