Tuesday, October 7 Oasis return with the release of their seventh studio album,"Dig Out Your Soul". The new album follows "Don't Believe the Truth." The British rockers will embark on a fall tour but so far, no dates for a possible Boston show have been revealed.

Tuesday, September 30 James Taylor releases "Covers" this week. The album was recorded at his home in Western Massachusets and features features his own renditions of songs made famous by such artists as The Dixie Chicks, Leonard Cohen, and more.

Tuesday, September 23 The Southern rockers return with their fourth album, "Only by the Night," which is a follow-up to last year's "Because of the Times." The band will support the new release with a fall tour that stops in Boston for two shows at the Orpheum.

Tuesday, September 16 Boston's own Amanda Palmer releases her first solo album this week, Who Killed Amanda Palmer. Ben Folds produced the album, which is a departure from her usual work as one half of The Dresden Dolls.

Tuesday, September 9 Rock legends Metallica will release their first new studio album in five years this week. However, "Death Magnetic", will actually hit stores on Friday. The band will support the new album with a winter tour that stops in Boston next year.

Tuesday, September 2 Boston's legendary boy band return with their first new album in 14 years. The guys now in their 30's but already have a new hit "Summertime" and two sold out shows at the Garden later this month.

Tuesday, August 26 The Verve, one of England's favorite rock bands, returns with its fourth album. The album is their first album since 1997's "Urban Hymns."

Tuesday, July 22 Nine Inch Nails releases the retail copy of their brand new release "The Slip", this week. Originally, released in May as a digital-only download, the retail copy is a CD/DVD combo limited to 250,000 copies worldwide.

Tuesday, July 8 Beck Will celebrate his 38th birthday with the release of his 8th album, "Modern Guilt." The album was produced with Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton and follows 2006's "The Information."

Tuesday, June 24 Motley Crue return this week with "Saints of Los Angeles", the 80's rockers first new studio album with the band's original lineup since 1997. The band will bring their "Crue Fest" tour with Buckcherry and Papa Roach to the Comcast Center on August 22.

Tuesday, June 17 Coldaply finally release the year's most highly anticipated, "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends." Chris Martin and company will support the new album, their fourth studio release, with a summer tour that hits Boston on August 4.

Tuesday, June 10 This week My Morning Jacket releases their long awaited fifth studio album, Evil Urges. The alt-rockers will support the new album with a full tour that hits the Pavilion on September 6.

Tuesday, June 3 Weezer finally return to the spotlight this week with the release of their sixth studio album. It's the band's third self-titled disc (but is already better known as the "The Red Album") and follows 2005's "Make Believe."

Tuesday, May 6 Neil Diamond returns to the spotlight this week the Rick Rubin produced, "Home Before Dark". The album includes a duet with the Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines. Of course, Diamond hits Fenway Park in support of the album on August 23.

Tuesday, April 29 Madonna tops an impressive list of new releases this week with the long-awaited release of "Hard Candy". The Material Girl's 11th studio album features lead single “4 minutes” with guests Timbaland and Justin Timberlake.
