Recently reunited jam band legends Phish have revealed plans for a three-day festival, dubbed "Festival 8", this fall in California. The Vermont-based band will take over the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, home to the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals, from Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1. The band will perform eight sets over the three days.

Festival 8 will be the Phish’s eighth festival and first since 2004’s Coventry. During the festival, the band plans to continue their Halloween tradition by performing a set in costume and covering another band’s album in full. Phish& has not stated what album they will perform but in the past, the band has tackled classics as the Beatles’ White Album and The Who’s Quadrophenia.

Tickets are now on sale via MusicToday for $199. One-site camping is also available for an additional fee.

Phish are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming album, Joy, which is due to hit stores on September 8. The album, their fourteenth studio effort, was recorded with producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, Dave Matthews Band) in New York City earlier this year.
