With new albums on the way, O.A.R. and Phillip Phillips have announced they will join forces this summer for a co-headlining tour. The two will hit New England for several shows, include one at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts on Thursday, July 10. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $35 to $75, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

O.A.R. will be touring in support of their forthcoming album, The Rockville LP. The band’s eighth studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s King, will be released on June 10. The album was written and recorded in Nashville, Maryland and New York City with the band aiming to bring their acclaimed live performance energy to the studio.

“Every true band always wants and always tries to bring the live energy onto their album,” said frontman Marc Roberge in a press release. “For some reason, it’s the most elusive thing, so I’ll never say we nailed it, I’ll just say we gave it everything we had on this album.”

Fans can get a taste of the new material with lead single “Peace”, which is streaming below.

Phillips will be touring in support of his forthcoming sophomore release, Behind the Light. Recorded in New York City, the American Idol season eleven winner’s new album was produced by Gregg Wattenberg, who co-produced Phillips’ 2012 debut album The World From the Side of the Moon. Fans can get a taste of the new album, which hits stores on May 19, with lead single “Raging Fire”.

Along with the show in Boston, O.A.R. and Phillips will make stops in New Hampshire and Connecticut. They’ll perform at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion at Meadowbrook in Gilford, New Hampshire on July 5, followed by the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on July 6.
