The Disco Biscuits to rock Boston again

The Disco Biscuits will soon return to the road for a tour that brings them back to Boston in March. The Philadelphia-based electro-jam band will play the House of Blues on Friday, March 19. Tickets for the show are $24 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Fresh off a five-night run of shows in New York’s Times Square last month, The Disco Biscuits are set for a run of four sold out shows in Boulder, California next month. Then, the band will turn their attention back to the East Coast for a tour in support of their forthcoming album, Planet Anthem. The band worked on the album for three years with with multiple producers, songwriters, and outside musicians, including Don Cheegro and Dirty Harry (Ludacris, Chris Brown, Beanie Sigel). The band is said to have experimented more with the sound, bringing everything from hip hop to pop to indie rock into their sound. Planet Anthem is scheduled to drop in stores on Febraury 2.

The Disco Biscuits will also play Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island on Friday, February 19. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $32.50, are now on sale Thursday at noon through etix.com.
