Robin Thicke announces solo Boston show

Robin Thicke has revealed plans for a handful of solo shows to accompany his time one the road opening for Alicia Keys this spring. The Los Angeles-based pop star will remain in Boston after opening Keys show at the Agganis Arena on Monday, March 22 for a headlining show of his own at the House of Blues on Tuesday, March 23. Tickets for the show, which are priced at $37 and $45, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Thicke is on the road to support his new album, Sex Therapy: The Session, which debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 after its release in December. The album, his fourth studio effort, follows 2008’s Something Else.

Of course, the three-time Grammy Award winner is best known for his writing and production credits. He’s written and produced for Michael Jackson, Lil’ Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Hudson, and has ultimately contributed to over 40 gold and platinum records by other artists.
