Ringo Starr to bring the All Starrs to Boston

Ringo Starr, the acclaimed drummer of music legends The Beatles, will bring His All Starr Band to the Bank of America Pavilion on Tuesday, June 29. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $30 to $95, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. In addition, fans can also purchase a special 4-pack ticket special for $33.75 each.   

Starr will be touring in support of his brand new album, Y Not. On the album, Starr is joined by old and new friends, including Dave Stewart, Joss Stone and Sir Paul McCartney, which whom Starr shares vocals on the album’s first single, “Walk With You”, a song about the power of friendship. 

With the help of several great musicians that share his musical style and love of performing, Ringo Starr and His All Star band have rocked venues across the globe for the past two decades. This summer should be no different as he’ll be backed by veteran All Starrs Edgar Winter, Gary Wright and Gregg Bissonette and newcomers Rick Derringer, Richard Page (Mr. Mister) and Wally Palmar (Romantics). Fans can expect The All Starr Band to put deliver songs both new and old with their own spin on classic hits like, “With a Little Help Form My Friends”, “Yellow Submarine”, “Photograph” and more.
