Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has named his new solo project the Atoms For Peace and made plans to hit the road for tour with the group this spring.

Yorke and company will precede a stop at the Coachella festival this spring with a handful of tour dates including a stop in Boston. The band will play Boston’s Citi Wang Theatre on Thursday, April 8. Tickets for the show are $50 and will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Telecharge. Additionally, the show will be a 100% forced will call event. All tickets sold for the show will be held at the venue’s box office and only be made available for pick-up beginning at 6:15 p.m. with immediate entry into the theatre required.

The band, which was previously billed as ????, features an all-star lineup including all-star bassist Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, drummer Joey Waronker of R.E.M., percussionist Mauro Refosco of Forro in the Dark and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.

They made their debut with Yorke last October in Los Angeles. “We had too much fun to just leave it there,” Yorke said in an announcement on Radiohead’s official website. “Hope you like the name,” he continued. “It seemed bleedin’ obvious.”
