After a break in touring, New Kids On The Block are ready to hit the pavement again. The Boston-based 90’s boy band has revealed plans for another set of tour dates this spring with the lone New England stop set for the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Friday, May 21. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $55 to $75, go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. through the venue’s box office.
“We’ve let our fans dictate this whole ride,” said NKOTB’s Donnie Wahlberg in a press release. “They’ve been the ones to guide us through this whole journey. They want more, we’ll give them more, and we’ll enjoy every moment along the way.”
In other New Kids news, the group just released a brand new DVD, Coming Home. The film is comprised interviews, behind-the-scenes, and other tour footage from the past 2 years since their reunion. The title track of the film is a brand new unreleased song by the group.
Fans can also purchase a deluxe 2-DVD set of Coming Home, which contains over 60 minutes of never-before-seen footage and six live performances filmed during the group’s world tour. The deluxe edition also comes complete an NKOTB dog tag, a limited edition authentic wardrobe swatch from their “Full Service” tour outfits and a chance to receive 1 of 5 Golden Keys, which will provide winners with a pair lifetime tickets to official NKOTB shows anywhere in the world for 2010 and beyond.
