Never Shout Never, Hey Monday and The Cab are teaming up to headline the annual Alternative Press tour this spring. Presented by Rock Star Energy Drink, the tour will rotate the headlining slot each night. Rounding out the bill are Every Avenue and The Summer Set. The tour will make its way to Boston on Thursday, April 29 for a show at the House of Blues. Tickets are just $13.75 and on sale now through Ticketmster.
The tour marks Alternative Press’ 25th anniversary. The Cleveland-based magazine have expanded their reach by organizing the nationwide tour that highlights emerging bands over the past three years.
Fans who purchase a ticket to the show will be given a free one-year subscription to Alternative Press. Free posters of all five bands will be available at each show and attendees can have them signed at AP’s nightly meet-and-greets.
Led by 18-year old mastermind Christofer Ingle, Never Shout Never will be touring in support of their debut mini-album, What is Love?. Released at the end of last month, the album was recorded last fall in Los Angeles and at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Florida’s Hey Monday continue to support their 2008 debut album Hold On Tight while Las Vegas’ The Cab do the same with 2008’s Whisper War
