June is here and with it, the summer concert season has officially begun. In a move to pack more fans into the seats, Live Nation has announced a special “No Service Fee June” sale that will eliminate service fees for tickets purchased in the month of June to all shows taking place at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston and the Comcast Center in Mansfield this summer. The deal also applies to the other 48 Live Nation owned and operated amphitheaters across the country.

“A fan in every seat is our mission this summer,” said Michael Rapino, President and CEO of Live Nation in a press release.  “We know that’s tough in this economy, so it’s our job to find a way to make concerts more affordable.  Starting June 1, Live Nation and the world’s top artists are offering live music fans the experience of seeing their favorite bands with no service fees on more than 8 million tickets at LiveNation.com.”

The “No Service Fee June” comes after the company released similar weekly specials last summer.
