Kate Nash to play Great Scott

Brit-pop sensation Kate Nash has revealed plans for a stateside tour in support of her forthcoming sophomore album, My Best Friend Is You. Nash will play an intimate show at Great Scott in Allston on Wednesday, April 28. as part of the Fenway Recordings Sessions series. Tickets for the show are $20 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through TicketWeb. Supercute! will open the show.

Nash will be touring in support of My Best Friend Is You, her highly anticipated follow up to her 2007 debut album, Made of Bricks, which was powered by the hit single “Foundations”. The new album, which was produced by former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler and recorded at RAK studios in the UK, is set to hit stores in America on April 20. “Do Wah Doo”, the first single from My Best Friend Is You, is now streaming on Nash’s MySpace.
