Jon Anderson to play solo show at Showcase Live

Jon Anderson, the former lead singer for progressive rock favorites Yes, will hit the road this spring for a handful of solo shows. He’ll come to Massachusetts on Wednesday, April 7 for a show at Showcase Live in Foxboro. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $25.

In June of 2008, Yes was forced to cancel its 40th anniversary tour after Anderson was diagnosed with acute respiratory failure and his doctors ordered him to rest for at least six months to avoid further complications. David Benoit, a Montreal native who fronted several Yes tribute bands, was then requited to join the real band, which is comprised of bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe and drummer Allan White. The move angered Anderson, who has since returned to full health and is touring as a solo act while Yes continues to tour with Benoit.
