Jeff Beck maps summer tour with Boston stop

The 2010 summer concert season is beginning to take shape as Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion revealed this week that guitar legend Jeff Beck will be playing the harbor side venue. Beck, who played the House of Blues last year,  will return to Boston on Thursday, June 3. Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation and range in price from $25 to $45 with a special 4-pack of tickets available for for $26.25 each.

Beck will be touring in support of his forthcoming album, Emotion & Commotion, which is scheduled for release on April 3. For his first studio album in seven years, Beck returns with an eclectic mix of tracks that find the guitar virtuoso accompanied by a handpicked cast of talented musicians, as well as several songs accompanied by a 64-piece orchestra. On this summer’s tour, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will be backed by Narada Michael Walden  on drums, Rhonda Smith on bass guitar, and Jason Rebello on keyboards.
