Dr. Dog add Boston shows to spring tour

, Staff

If you missed Dr. Dog’s performance in Providence this past week, you’ll have another chance to catchy the Philadelphia-based indie rockers this spring. The band will play a pair of shows at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston on Tuesday, May 11 and Wednesday, May 12. Tickets for the 18+ show, which also features Providence favorites Deer Tick, are now on sale through Live Nation for $20.

The band will be touring in support of their sixth album studio effort, Shame, Shame, which is scheduled for release on April 6. The album, which follows 2008’s Fate, will be their first release on the ANTI- record label after moving from Park the Van. Dr. Dog promises to exclusively release one of the new tracks to all their Facebook friends, once that number reaches 20,000 (they are currently just over 16,000).
