Blue October have revealed plans for a special tour this spring with the Stars of Track and Field and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The tour, dubbed “The Reason to Live Tour”, will aim to raise awareness and funds for depression and suicide prevention. The Boston show is scheduled to take place at the House of Blues on Wednesday, April 14. Tickets for the show, which are priced at $25 and $35, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Houston-based rockers Blue October continue to tour in support of their fifth studio album, Approaching Normal. The Steve Lillywhite-produced album debuted at #13 on the Billboard 200 after its release last March. The band was forced to cancel their tour last fall, which was to benefit the same organization, after frontman Justin Furstenfield suffered a severe mental anxiety attack.

The tour is committed to reducing the stigma associated with mental health as well as making the access to help and hope for all safe and without fear.
