Blood Into Wine, the new documentary about Tool/A Perfect Circle/Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan and his Arizona wine exploits, will hit the Somerville Theatre this weekend for a special screening.

The film focuses on Keenan and vineyard partner Eric Glomski as they attempt to revolutionize the U.S. wine industry by creating a new wine region in Northern Arizona. The film also features Milla Jovovich, Patton Oswalt, Bob Odenkirk, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!) as well as live music performances and plenty of unexpected comedy. Blood Into Wine will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on May 4 but fans can check out the film this weekend at the Somerville Theatre with showings taking place Friday through Sunday (scheduled times are 4:15, 7:15 and 9:30). Admission is $8.
