Black Eyed Peas plan return visit to the Garden

After entertaining a sold out crowd at the TD Garden last month, the Black Eyed Peas have revealed plans to return to Boston this summer for another show on Causeway Street as they continue their The E.N.D. World Tour. The group will play the TD Garden on Tuesday, August 3. Tickets, which range in price from $47 to $89.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The group, comprised of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergi, continue to tour in support of their latest release, The E.N.D. The multi-platinum #1 album has been powered by the #1 singles, “Boom Boom Pow”, “I Gotta Feeling” and “Imma Be”. The E.N.D. (short for The Energy Never Dies) is the hip-hop group’s fifth studio effort and follows 2005’s Monkey Business. The group earned six nominations Grammy Award nominations for The E.N.D. and won for Best Pop Vocal Album. The Black Eyed Peas are already hard at work on their next album, which they are recording while on the road.

In related news, the Black Eyed Peas will broadcast their March 30 concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to nearly movie theaters across the country. The event, which will be featured at 13 theaters in Massachusetts, will include a 30-minute pre-show program comprised of behind-the-scenes footage and band interviews.
