Angels & Airwaves have announced plans for a spring tour that will stop at Boston’s House of Blues on Tuesday, May 4. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $27 to $37, go on sale today at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. California-based rockers Say Anything will open the show.

The band led by Tom Delonge of Blink-182 fame are touring in support of their new album, Love, which was released earlier this month as a free download on the band’s official website. The album, the group’s third studio effort and follow up to 2007’s I-Empire, was 20,000 downloads in the first hour of its Valentine’s Day release and 250,000 downloads in the first weekend alone. The album’s lead single “Hallucinations” was also remixed by Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and is available to all fans who donate money when downloading Love from Modlife. A hard copy of the album is expected to hit store shelves later this year and will include additional music that has been recorded for the Love film project, which is expected to be released in April.
