ZZ Top make plans for Rhode Island

ZZ Top have extend their summer tour plans into the fall as they continue to promote their latest album, La Futura. The classic rock favorites will return to New England and perform at the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, Rhode Island on Friday, November 15. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $55 to $125, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

La Futura, ZZ Top’s 15th studio album and first since 2003’s Mescalero, was released in September. Recorded in Texas and California, the album was co-produced by Rick Rubin and guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbons. The video for lead single “I Gotsta Get Paid” is streaming below.

Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Records released ZZ Top: The Complete Studio Albums (1970-1990). The box set includes the original mixes for the band’s first ten albums for a collection that spans 100 tracks. The set presents, for the first time on CD, the original LP mixes for: ZZ Top’s First Album, Rio Grande Mud and Tejas.
