ZZ Top have announced a pair of New England shows as part of their growing 2013 tour plans. Touring in support of their first new album in nine years, the classic rock favorites will play shows in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

The Texas-based rockers will hit Massachusetts for a performance at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, May 18. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $56 to $86, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Prior to the show in Lynn, ZZ Top will perform at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire on Friday, May 17. Tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster for $60.

La Futura, ZZ Top’s 15th studio album and first since 2003’s Mescalero, was released in September. Recorded in Texas and California, the album was co-produced by Rick Rubin and guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbons. The video for lead single “I Gotsta Get Paid” is streaming below.

“We thought long and hard about what this album should be,” said Gibbons in a press release. “We wanted to recall the directness of our early stuff but not turn our backs on contemporary technology. The result of this melding of the past and the present is, of course, La Futura.”
