Ziggy Marley will swing through Massachusetts later this month as part of his ongoing tour in support of Wild and Free. The Jamaican singer will play Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Wednesday, October 26. Tickets for the show, which will also feature opener Leon Mobley, are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $25.

Released in June, Wild and Free is Marley’s fourth studio album. Recorded in Los Angeles and Jamaica, and co-produced with Grammy Award winning producer Don Was (The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan), this is the third album they have worked on together. Wild and Free‘s lead single is “Forward to Love”. Actor Woody Harrelson makes a guest appearance on the title track, which was used for California’s Proposition 19 campaign to legalize recreational marijuana.

In April, Marley released a graphic novel entitled “Marijuanaman”. Based on a character conceived of by Marley, with art by Jim Mahfood and written by Joe Casey, Marijuanaman “tells the tale of a noble extraterrestrial champion, who has arrived on Earth to deliver an important message and at the same time save his own planet”.
