Zac Brown Band adds Massachusetts show
Zac Brown Band have added more dates to their upcoming tour in support of their forthcoming album, Uncaged. The Country favorites will now make their way to Massachusetts for a performance at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Sunday, September 9. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $22.50 to $52, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.
Uncaged, which will hit stores on July 10, is the band’s third major-label studio recording and the follow-up to 2010′s You Get What You Give, which still remains on the Billboard 200 chart. It features guest vocals by Amos Lee on “Day That I Die”, while New Orleans’ Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue contributes to “Overnight”. The band worked with a host of co-writers including Jason Mraz, Wyatt Durrette, Sonia Leigh, Nic Cowan and Levi Lowrey. Recorded at various studios across the South including Atlanta, Asheville, Nashville and Key West, the new album also marks the official debut of the band’s newest member percussionist Daniel de los Reyes. Uncaged‘s lead single “The Wind” is streaming below.
In a press release, frontman Zac Brown described Uncaged as the product of “powerful chemistry that’s developed by living, traveling and working as a band.” He added, “We’re always trying to push the barrier of our musicianship, and I’m proud to say that there is a little bit of something for everyone.”
As previously reported, Zac Brown Band will perform back-to-back shows at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1. A limited tickets for each of the shows are available through Ticketmaster for $77 and $97.
