Yeasayer have revealed plans for a tour of North America in support of their forthcoming album, Fragrant World. The Brooklyn-based three-piece rock group will play Boston’s House of Blues on Tuesday, September 11. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $25 and $35.

Fragrant World
, Yeasayer’s third studio effort, will be released on August 21. After touring in support of 2010’s Odd Blood, the trio (Chris Keating, Ira Wolf-Tuton and Anand Wilder) entered Gary’s Electric Studios in Brooklyn to record the new album. Fragrant World’s lead single “Henrietta” is streaming below.

“I wanted to make a record that was legitimately, to use a bad word, funky,” explained Keating in an interview earlier this year with Under the Radar magazine. “We definitely try to capture the schizophrenia of what it”s like to be alive today,” added Wilder.
