Wu-Tang Clan have revealed plans to return to the road and close out 2010 with a month-long tour. The legendary rap group will play Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on Wednesday, December 2. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $35 to $42.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The group’s last studio release was 2007’s 8 Diagrams, their fifth studio album. The album was released three years after the passing of founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard, and six years after the group’s previous album, Iron Flag. Wu-Tang Clan is currently comprised of original members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Killa.

In a recent interview with TheBoombox.com, RZA declared he would not be joining the group on the upcoming tour. “Well, I gotta be honest about the tour. I have too much business going this quarter, so I won’t be on the tour,” he said. “I’m going to try to join those guys during the springtime, though. Wu-Tang is coming to a lot of towns across the country and you know they’ll leave their mark. I won’t be there, unfortunately.”

Wu-Tang Clan will also perform at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island on Tuesday, December 28. Tickets for the show are now on sale through e-tix.com for $35 and $40.
