Will Forte joins Guster in Massachusetts

Is Will Forte joining Guster? The Saturday Night Live album and MacGruber star has joined the band twice in the past two weeks, including Friday night at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston.

Forte, who is in town filming “Donny’s Boy” (formerly “I Hate You Dad”) with Adam Sandler and will appear in next summer’s film adaptation of Rock of Ages, joined the Boston-bred band at the Cape Cod Melody Tent earlier this month for a comical take on Air Supply’s “All Out Of Love” (video is streaming below).

On Friday, Guster and Forte raised the bar by closing out the show with an absolutely hilarious rendition of Foreigner’s “I Want To Know What Love Is” with help from tourmate Andrew McMahon of Jack’s Mannequin. Ironically, the real Foreigner was also in Massachusetts last night, performing at the Comcast Center in Mansfield with Journey.

Enjoy the footage from last night below.
