“Things came together nicely this year, and nearly all at the same time” said one of the festival’s organizers and Wilco manager Tony Margherita in a press release, “so we have the luxury of announcing a pretty complete lineup. When we looked the full list in one place, we realized it ran the gamut, pretty much from A to Z.”

“We still have one or two surprises up our sleeves,” he added, “but we’re pretty excited about this lineup and this year’s schedule of events. This will be one hell of a festival and a really good time.”

Early bird 3-day passes for Solid Sound are available through the festival’s website for $124. The 3-day pass price will soon increase to $149. Discounted 3-day passes for children ages 7-10 are available for $50, while children 6 and under will be admitted for free. A limited quantity of single-day tickets will also be made available soon.

In 2010 Wilco, in collaboration with MASS MoCA created the Solid Sound Festival, a three-day event of music, art, comedy and culture. The festival garnered rave reviews and continued in 2012.
