Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival will return next summer to Massachusetts. After taking last year off, the Chicago-based rockers will again host their curated 3-day festival at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28.

A limited number of specially-priced $124 early bird 3-day passes will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the festival’s website, as well as the venue’s website and box office. Kids (ages 7-10) 3-day passes will also be available for $50, while children ages 6 and under will be admitted for free.

Wilco first held the Solid Sound Festival in 2010 and repeated it in 2011 and 2013. The band will deliver headlining sets on two nights, while their members will perform throughout the weekend with their various side-projects. A wide range of soon-to-be-announced musical performances will take place across multiple and John Hodgman will host a comedy cabaret.

The 2015 festival will continue in the tradition of previous festivals, which have, in addition to offering a broad range of musical performers and comedians, included falconry and birds of prey demonstrations, a dunk tank, an all-covers set by Wilco, a naturalist hike, axe-restoration instruction, a live version of NPR’s Radiolab and more, all set amidst the sprawling campus of the country’s largest contemporary art museum.

In addition to tickets, this Friday opens reservations for campsites at Solid Ground, the festival’s official campsite.

Wilco recently released Alpha Mike Foxtrot: Rare Tracks 1994-2014 and What’s Your 20?: Essential Tracks. Alpha Mike Foxtrot is a 4-CD box-set of rare studio and live recordings collected from the band’s extensive audio archives. What’s Your Twenty? is a 2-CD compilation of tracks culled from the band’s previously released studio recordings. Wilco’s last offering of all new material was 2011’s The Whole Love.
