Widespread Panic have announced plans for a summer tour. The veteran jam band will return to the road and hit Boston for a night at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on Friday, June 13. Tickets for the show, which range in price fro $29.50 to $45, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Joining them will be special guests Galactic.

The Athens, Georgia-bred band just released the 22nd and 23rd installments of their Porch Songs Live Archives Series. The releases capture Widespread Panic’s 2010 two-night run at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee. Though the band has since returned to the venue three years running, this live recording marks their first visit.

Widespread Panic’s last offering of all new material was 2010’s Dirty Side Down.

Galactic continue to tour in support of 2012’s Carnivale Electricos. Earlier this year, they release a pair of new singles: “Higher and Higher” (featuring JJ Grey) and “Dolla Diva” (featuring David Shaw & Maggie Koerner).
