It’s Memorial Day weekend – the “official start of Summer” – and what better way to celebrate than with music. For New England, that will be easy with this weekend’s B.O.M.B. Fest, which will take place at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday and Sunday.

Weezer will headline Saturday’s show, which will also feature Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Best Coast, Health, Titus Andronicus, RJD2, Wavves, EOTO, The Cool Kids, Dan Deacon, The Felice Brothers and many more. Snoop Dogg will headline Sunday’s show, which will also feature sets from Wiz Khalifa, Coheed And Cambria, Neon Trees, State Radio, The New Pornographers, Shpongle, Against Me!, Portugal. The Man, Man Man, Dum Dum Girls and many more. Festival organizers have done an excellent job including many New England-based bands, including Boston’s David Wax Museum and The Dirty Dishes. In total, over 70 bands will perform across three stages.

The complete lineup with estimated set times for each of the performers, can be found here.

Tickets for the festival are still available through Live Nation in a variety of formats. Two-day passes can be purchased for $89 (open air/lawn level; general admission) or $99 (pavilion level; general admission). Single-day tickets can be purchased for $60 and $70. VIP options are also available.

As previously reported, the B.O.M.B. Fest (short for Bring Our Music Back) was originally scheduled to take place on the grounds of Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut but was moved to the Comcast Theatre in Hartford to accommodate more fans as demand for tickets rose.
