We The Kings will hit Massachusetts this week to perform a free, all-ages, outdoor concert at Patriot Place in Foxboro on Friday. The concert, which will take place at 7 p.m., is part of the ongoing Rock The Plaza concert series.

The Bradenton, Florida-based pop-rock group is touring in support of the brand new album Sunshine State of Mind. Released in July, the band’s third studio effort features singles “Friday Is Forever” and “Say You Like Me”. We The Kings is comprised of singer/guitarist Travis Clark, guitarist Hunter Thomsen, bassist Drew Thomsen and drummer Danny Duncan.

Following Friday’s performance, We The Kings will shoot a segment for “Totally Patriots” on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Kraft Sports Productions’ youth-oriented, Patriots-themed television show airs on CBS affiliate WBZ-TV on Sunday mornings during the football season. The shoot will also take place at Patriot Place. Fans are invited to attend both Friday’s free concert and Saturday’s Totally Patriots shoot. Some lucky fans will even win an opportunity to ask the band questions on camera by entering a contest on the band’s website.

“We’re feeling really lucky to have We The Kings perform at Rock The Plaza, fresh off the Sunshine State of Mind Tour, several dates in Australia earlier this month and just as their latest single, ‘Say You Like Me’ hits radio,” said Kraft Sports Productions’ Robyn Glaser, who also produces Rock the Plaza, in a press release. “We The Kings are exactly the type of band perfectly suited for Rock The Plaza – great, talented, charismatic guys who put on an energetic, thoroughly entertaining live show. This is one New England region fans will not want to miss.”

Friday’s performance is weather permitting.
