WAAF will welcome Sammy Hagar to Massachusetts this month for a special Halloween party. The former Van Halen frontman will rock the Tsongas Center in Lowell on Friday, October 25. Buckcherry and Sick Puppies will also perform at the radio station’s “Halloween Thrillogy!”. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $37.

Hagar released his first studio album in five years, Sammy Hagar & Friends last month. The album features a collection of new songs and covers including classics from Depeche Mode, Bob Seger and Jimmy Buffett. It includes an array of special guests Kid Rock, Neal Schon (of Journey), Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony (of Van Halen, Chickenfoot), Taj Mahal, Ronnie Dunn (of Brooks & Dunn), Toby Keith, Nancy Wilson (of Heart) and more.

Concert-goers are encouraged to dress up for the concert. WAAF will host a costume contest for attendees with the most awesome costume winning $1,000, while the second and third place winners will take home $500 and $250, respectively.

Buckcherry continues to tour in support of their latest album, Confessions. Released in February, the band’s sixth studio effort features singles “Gluttony”, “Greed” and “Nothing Left But Tears”.

Sick Puppies are also on the road to promote their new album, Connect. Released in July, the band’s fourth studio features lead single “There’s No Going Back”.
