Volbeat have revealed plans for a tour of North America this spring in support of their forthcoming album, Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies. The Danish hard rockers will hit Massachusetts for a show at Boston’s House of Blues on Wednesday, May 1. Tickets for the show, which will also feature All That Remains and Eye Empire, are now on sale through Live Nation for $29.50 and $45.

Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies, Volbeat’s fifth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s Beyond Hell/Above Heaven, is scheduled to hit stores on April 9. The album was co-produced by Jacob Hansen and Rob Caggiano, who has since joined the band as their lead guitarist after leaving Anthrax. It features special guests King Diamond on “Room 24” and Sarah Blackwood of Walk Off The Earth on “The Lonesome Rider”, as well as a cover of Young The Giant’s “My Body”.

“It’s a new vibe for Volbeat,” explained Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen in a press release. “You’ve got everything – the rockabilly stuff, the melodies, the ultra-heavy stuff, the Western motifs and the big rock songs. It’s everything that Volbeat are all about, but taken even further.”
