Van Halen have added a New Hampshire show to the upcoming tour in support of their forthcoming album, A Different Kind Of Truth. The legendary rockers will perform at Manchester’s Verizon Wireless Arena on Tuesday, March 13. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $49.50 to $149.50, will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Kool & The Gang will open the show.

A Different Kind Of Truth, Van Halen’s first album with original frontman David Lee Roth in 28 years, will be released on February 7 through Interscope Records. The band’s 12th studio effort also marks the recording debut of bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, son of guitarist Eddie Van Halen, who replaced original bassist Michael Anthony in 2006. A Different Kind of Truth is the band’s first album of new material since 1998’s Van Halen III, which featured one-time frontman and Boston native Gary Cherone (of Extreme) on lead vocals. The video for lead single “Tattoo” is streaming below.

A deluxe version of the album will be released, containing a bonus Acoustic DVD called “The Downtown Sessions”, which will contain acoustic versions of popular Van Halen songs such as “Panama”, “You and Your Blues”, “Beautiful Girls” and “You Really Got Me”.

As previously announced, Van Halen will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Saturday, March 3 and Boston’s TD Garden on Sunday, March 11.
