Umphrey’s McGee reveal plans for new album, tour
Umphrey’s McGee have announced plans for a fall tour in support of their forthcoming album, Death by Stereo. The Chicago rockers will make their way to New England in September for several shows.
The Chicago-based jam band will play the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts on Friday, September 16. Tickets for the show are now on sale through NBOTickets for $22.50. Prior to that, they’ll hit New Hampshire for a performance at Concord’s Capital Center for the Arts on Wednesday, September 14. Tickets for the show are on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $25 and $30. Other New England stops include the State Theatre in Portland, Maine on September 17 and Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont on September 15.
Death By Stereo, the band’s sixth studio effort and first since 2009′s Mantis, will hit stores on September 13. Fans can now pre-order the album through the band’s website. There are also several packages available with a wide varity of incentives for deep pocket fans, including golfing, attending a Chicago Cubs game, fishing and playing kickball with band members, as well as opportunities for to join the band on their tour bus or host a private concert.
