Train has announced plans for an expansive summer outing with special guests The Script and Gavin DeGraw. The pride of San Francisco will bring their “Mermaids of Alcatrez” tour to Massachusetts for a night at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Saturday, July 27. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $17.50 to $67.50, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

The summer tour will continue Train’s support of their latest album, 2012’s California 37. The band’s sixth studio effort and follow-up to 2009’s Save Me, San Francisco was primarily produced by Butch Walker and Espionage. It has been powered by hit singles “Drive By”, “50 Ways to Say Goodbye”, “Bruises” (with guest vocalist Ashley Monroe) and “Mermaid”.

The Script will be touring in support of their latest release, 2012’s 3. The Irish pop rocker’s third studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s Science & Faith debuted at $13 on the Billboard 200 after its release last October. It features singles “Hall Of Fame” (with guest vocalist of The Black Eyed Peas) and “Six Degrees of Separation”.

DeGraw’s most recent release was 2011’s Sweeter. The New York native and one-time Berklee College of Music student’s third studio effort features singles “Not Over You”, “Sweeter” and “Soldier”.
