Toby Keith is heading out on the “Locked & Loaded” tour this summer, and is returning to Massachusetts along the way to rock Bay State fans. The country superstar will play the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Saturday, September 17. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $29 to $81.50, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. A special offer, dubbed the “hell raiser”, will offer two seats for $40. Eric Church will open the show.

Keith will be touring in support of his latest release, 2010’s Bullets In The Gun. The album, Keith’s fourteenth studio effort, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 after its release last September. It’s been powered by hit singles “Trailerhood” and “Bullets in the Gun”. The latest single, “Somewhere Else”, is said to be the Keith’s “favorite track”. A video of his performance of the song on CMT’s “Initiation Only” is streaming below. Earlier this year, Keith also released 10, a DVD compilation of the country crooner’s most popular music videos.

According to a press release announcing the tour, Keith is promising many of the staples of a big arena tour: from giant video screens to the “Club T” party pit and an impressive pyrotechnic display.

In related news, after months of delays, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill recently opened its brand new location at Patriot Place outside of Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.
