Toby Keith has revealed plans to return to the road this summer in support of his new album, Hope on the Rocks. The country superstar will return to Massachusetts for a performance at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Saturday, September 21. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $27.50 to $89, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Joining Keith on the road will be rising star Kip Moore.

Hope on the Rocks, Keith’s sixteenth studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s Clancy’s Tavern, debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 after its release in October. Keith produced and co-wrote each of the album’s ten tracks, including singles “I Like Girls That Drink Beer” and “Hope on the Rocks” (video is streaming below). Hope on the Rocks continues Keith’s prolific run of new releases in the past decade as the latest album marks his eighth album in the past eight years and eleventh in twelve years.

Keith’s “Hammer Down” tour will also stop at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on Sunday, August 25. Ticket information for the show has not yet been released.

The upcoming tour will mark Keith’s first without band leader and bassist Chuck Goff, a friend of the country star for over 25 years. Goff, 54, was killed last month in a car crash in Oklahoma.

Keith is nominated for “Male Vocalist of the Year” at the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be televised live on CBS on Sunday, April 7.

Moore continues to tour in support of his 2012’s Up All Night. The Georgia native’s debut album has been powered by hit singles “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” and “Beer Money”.
