Thursday to hit Boston’s Royale on final tour

Thursday have announced that the band will go on indefinite hiatus after wrapping up their tour commitments, which including an ongoing tour of North America. The veteran post-hardcore rockers from New Brunswick, New Jersey will hit Massachusetts for their last show in the Hub when they play Boston’s Royale on Thursday, December 29. Joining them will be mewithoutYou, Screaming Females, Make Do and Mend, and Aficionado. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $19.50.

On the tour, the thirteen year veterans will celebrate the band’s legacy as well as their latest album, No DevoluciĆ³n. Released in April, the band’s sixth studio effort was recorded at New York’s Tarbox Road Studios with producer Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, MGMT) in July 2011.

“We would love to see you all one more time,” declared frontman Geoff Rickly in a press release. “So please, if we’re near your city, come out and have fun with us. It has been our pleasure and honor to make music for such wonderful people over the last thirteen years.”
