Thrice will hit the road this fall for a tour in support of their brand new album, Major/Minor. The California-based rockers will make their way to Massachusetts for a show at Boston’s Royale on Tuesday, October 18. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $20. Moving Mountains, La Dispute and O’Brother will open the show.

Major/Minor, the band’s seventh studio album and first since 2009’s Beggars, was released on September 6. It debuted at #18 on the Billboard 200, as well as #2 on the Independent Albums and #5 on the Rock Albums charts. The recording of Major/Minor began May 2 in Santa Monica, California at Red Bull Studios with Dave Schiffman, who mixed Beggars and engineered Vheissu.

“It’s definitely the most natural progression from record to record that we’ve had in a while,” said lead singer Dustin Kensrue in a press release. “We did The Alchemy Index, which was totally different [from Vheissu]. Then Beggars was kind of the reaction against that. This kind of makes sense coming out of Beggars, but it’s definitely a different record.”
