Theory of a Deadman & Alter Bridge to lead Carnival of Madness tour

Theory of a Deadman and Alter Bridge will lead the Second Annual “Carnival of Madness”, which will make its way to New England in September. Black Stone Cherry, Adelitas Way and Emphatic will also perform on the summer tour.

The tour will first stop at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire on Saturday, September 3. Tickets for the 18+ show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $36. Fans in Massachusetts can catch the show at the Central Mass Expo Center in Fitchburg on Monday, September 5. Tickets for the show are now on sale through TicketWeb for $27.50.

“Theory of a Deadman is totally stoked to be doing the Carnival of Madness Tour this year, said lead singer and guitarist Tyler Connolly in a press release. “It’s great to be joined by Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Adelitas Way and newcomers Emphatic – who all have songs rocking at radio and awesome live shows.”

Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy added, “It will be great to be back in the U.S. playing on our home turf with these bands. If you dig straight up, no frills Rock…then this tour is for you. Hope to see everyone there!”

Theory of a Deadman is touring in support of their brand new album The Truth Is…, which was released on Tuesday. The album, their fourth studio effort, follows 2008′ Scars & Souvenirs. It features lead single “Lowlife”.

Alter Bridge continue to tour in support of their aptly titled third studio album, AB III. Released in December, it debuted at #17 on the Billboard 200 and has been fueled by lead single “Isolation”.

The Carnival of Madness launched last year with the bands Shinedown, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust, and 10 Years. This year’s outing will also stop at the Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine on Sunday September 4.
