The Tragically Hip map fall tour

The Tragically Hip have revealed plans for a fall tour in support of their forthcoming album, Now For Plan A. The veteran Canadian rockers will hit Boston for a show at the House of Blues on Friday, November 9. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $32.85 and $45.35.

Now For Plan A, The Tragically Hip’s 12th studio album and follow-up to 2009’s We Are the Same, will hit stores on October 2. Produced by Gavin Brown (Metric, Boys Like Girls) and featuring guest vocals by Sarah Harmer, the album offers all new music written by the band and set to the lyrics of lead singer Gord Downie. The video for opening track and lead single “At Transformation” is streaming below.

The Tragically Hip were formed in 1984 by five friends from Kingston, Ontario: Rob Baker, Gord Johnny Fay, Paul Langlois, Gord Sinclair and Downie.
