Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Ireland’s The Saw Doctors have mapped their  most ambitious tour of North America. Set to launch later this month in Florida, the County Galway band will make their to New England in March for several shows, including one in Boston. The band will return to the House of Blues on Friday, March 9. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $29.50 and $45.

Prior to the show in Boston, The Saw Doctors will make additional stops throughout New England. They’ll perform a free show at Mohegan Sun Casino’s Wolf Den in Uncasville, Connecticut on Saturday, March 3. Fans in Rhode Island can catch the band perform at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence on Tuesday, March 6. Tickets for the show are now on sale through eTix for $25 and $35. Two days later, The Saw Doctors will take the stage at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $28 to $45, are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website,

Following the Boston show, The Saw Doctors will perform at the Calvin Theatre in Northhampton on Sunday, March 11. One last show in New England is scheduled for Connecticut’s Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, March 18.

The Irish rockers enjoy a strong and very dedicated fanbase in New England. “Most of our gigs in this part of the world, we walk out on stage and recognize maybe a hundred faces immediately,” remarked singer-guitarist Leo Moran in an interview with Boston Music Spotlight last summer. “Our fans here are very loyal and very often come to more than one show on a tour. It gives us a strange feeling of at-homeness three thousand miles from Tuam.”

The Saw Doctors continue to tour support of their latest release, 2010’s The Further Adventures of the Saw Doctors. The band’s seventh studio effort and first since 2006’s The Cure was produced by Phil Tennant. Most recently, the Saw Doctors released a new single “Downtown” featuring the classic song’s original singer Petula Clark. The upcoming tour will be the band’s first with new drummer Rickie O’Neill, who will replace Eimhin Cradock behind the kit.
