After a sold-out Broadway engagement, The Rascals have revealed plans to bring their “Once Upon A Dream” show on the road. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will hit Boston next month for a special four night stand at the Opera House. Performances are scheduled for June 25, 26, 28 and 29. Tickets for each of the shows, which range in price from $45 to $200, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

“Once Upon A Dream” is described as the “hybrid of a rock ‘n’ roll concert and a Broadway show” and spotlights the history of The Rascals and the history of the ’60’s through their music. It marks the first time The Rascals, featuring original members Felix Cavaliere (keyboard & vocals), Eddie Brigati (vocals), Dino Danelli (drums) and Gene Cornish (guitar), have played together since 1970.

At the show, the blue-eyed soul group will deliver their #1 hits “Good Lovin'”, “Groovin'” and “People Got to Be Free”, as well as favorites like “It’s A Beautiful Morning”, “A Girl Like You”, “I’ve Been Lonely Too Long” and “How Can I Be Sure”. The production will also feature the history of the legendary group told through archival footage, narration, and filmed scenes of actors acting out key moments in the band’s history.

“The Rascals: Once Upon A Dream” made its debut at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York in December. It then moved to Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre for a series of shows from April 16 to May 5. The show is directed by Steven Van Zandt (of the E Street Band) and Marc Brickman.

Along with the shows in Massachusetts, “The Rascals: Once Upon A Dream” will also take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Friday, August 30. Tickets for the performance will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $45.
