After wrapping up a tour in Australia, The Maine will return to the United States next week to launch a nationwide tour. The Arizona natives will make their way to Massachusetts next month and play the House of Blues in Boston on Friday, May 18. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Lydia and The Arkells, are now on sale through Live Nation for $20.

The Maine will be touring in support of their latest album, Pioneer. Released last December, the band’s third studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s Black & White, features singles “Don’t Give Up On Us” and “Some Days”. Last month, the band released a video for “Misery”, which is streaming below.

In an interview with Substream Music Press last December, guitarist Jared Monaco explained how each of the band members were actively engaged throughout the whole recording process. “When a part is being scrutinized by five people instead of one, there’s no chance any of us could be disappointed by the final take,” he said. “This process takes a little longer, but I think the payoff is huge, you can really hear all of our individual influences throughout Pioneer.”
