The Maine and Augustana have revealed plans to hit the road next month for a co-headlining tour. The two bands will make their way to Massachusetts for a show at Boston’s House of Blues on Saturday, May 28. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $20. Austin Gibbs will open the show.

Arizona’s The Maine continue to tour in support of 2010’s Black & White. The album, the band’s second full-length studio effort, features singles “Growing Up” and “Right Girl”. The band recorded the album in California with Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects).

“We can’t wait to be on the road with two incredible acts, Augustana and Austin Gibbs,” said John O’Callaghan, frontman for The Maine, in a press release. “Expect an evening of earnest, high energy rock and roll. We look forward to sharing this experience with everyone!”

California’s Augustana will be touring in support of their forthcoming self-titled album, which is scheduled to hit stores on April 26. It’s the band’s fourth studio effort and first since 2008’s Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt. “Steal Your Heart”, Augustana’s lead single, is streaming on the band’s MySpace. Of course, Boston fans can expect to hear band’s smash hit “Boston” when they play the city this spring.
