After spending the summer touring through Europe, The Kooks have revealed plans to cross the pond for a tour of North America. The English rockers will hit Massachusetts for a show at Boston’s House of Blues on Saturday, November 19. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers The Postelles, are now on sale through Live Nation for $23.50.

The Kooks will be touring in support of their forthcoming album, Junk of the Heart, which is schedule to hit stores on September 12. Produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Air, Belle & Sebastian), the band’s third studio effort and first since 2008’s Konk was recorded in The Sound Factory in Los Angeles and Sarm Studios in London.

“It’s upbeat; an album to play in the sun,” explained frontman Luke Pritchard in a press release. “What we really wanted to do was build a proper, full album. Something you can listen to from front to back. We’re an album band and this is a journey you come on with us.”
